The Doctor Who Rewatch Podcast - ‘Planet of the Ood’

Slavery.

We all love it, right? It’s just so damn handy to have someone around to do everything for you, from cleaning your house, to wiping your bum, to handing you endless shots of hair tonic. So it’s with great excitement that the Doctor Who Rewatch Podcast tunes in to ‘Planet of the Ood’, which we assume is some kind of 45-minute infomercial for slavery and all the endless benefits that it brings.

So grab your Communication Orbs tightly and get ready to treat sentient beings as if they’re objects, there’s nothing quite like it!

The Doctor Who Rewatch Podcast - 'The Fires of Pompeii'

To think that you thought we'd never return!

Well, it turns out that you're a heckin' fool, as the Doctor Who Rewatch Podcast is BACK, and we're ready to tackle the second episode of New Who a mere three months after we recorded for "Partners in Crime'. Don't forget, in the context of all of time and space, three months really isn't that long at all...

So, what will the second episode of the series offer us? Naturally there's the impossible to ignore cameos from Kazza G and Petey Capaldo, but do 'The Fires of Pompeii' have more to give? There's only one way to find out and that's to climb into your Time Box, hit 2008 and wait for the magic to happen!

The Stephen King Adaption Project- 'The Shining' (1997) part 3 commentary

All good things must come to an end, so, after ALL the hours, The Stephen King Adaption Project is finally waving goodbye to The Shining, with our commentary for Part 3 of the 1997 miniseries.

And what better way to say farewell to the Overlook Hotel then with a jolly old knees up, a lovely masquerade ball that has everything you could wish for - free flowing booze, men behaving like dogs, a sexy corpse lady - and oh so much more.

So, as the clock strikes midnight, get ready to unmask, unmask, unmask one last time!

The Stephen King Adaptation Project -‘The Shining’ (1997) Part 2 commentary

Let it shine!

Yes, The Stephen Kind Adaptation Project is back - and we’re returning to the eerily familiar Overlook Hotel for a second spooky, scary, scream-filled week!

But why will we find there? A Jack Torrance who isn’t absolutely bananas from the very first shot? A Wendy who has some semblance of bladder control? A Danny that coins the hit song ‘I Love Snow’? Most importantly, will the antics of these three little pigs titilate us beyond what old Stanley presented to us in the 1980 adaptation? Or will we go full on crackers like that old cracker Jack Nicholson and demand to return to the embrace of Kubrick’s labyrinth forever and ever and ever?
